We’ve been raising purebred Tunis sheep since 2002. We focus on preserving the traditional characteristics of the breed rather than raising for show. It’s important to us to help preserve heritage breeds of livestock such as the Tunis and we also have Suffolk Horses and heritage breed poultry. Tunis are a wonderful medium size sheep, very friendly and easy to work with, have great mothering abilities and a nice medium grade wool. Their meat quality is listed on the “Arc of Taste” as one of the best tasting lamb meats available.
